General Provisions

These terms define the relationship between the astrotour—an out-of-city stargazing event (hereinafter the "Event")—Space42 (hereinafter the "Organizer"), and the Event participant (hereinafter the "Participant") during the organization and conduct of the Event.

For specific events, the Organizer may establish special terms and conditions. In the event of a conflict between special and general terms, the special terms shall apply to that specific event.

Payment

Payment for participation in the Event is made electronically, through the options specified by the Organizer. Cash payment is possible only with the verbal or written consent of the Organizer and the Participant.

Refund

A full or partial refund of the Event participation fee may be issued if the corresponding request is submitted more than two days prior to the start of the Event. No full refund will be made during the two days preceding the Event, and a partial refund may be issued only with the verbal or written consent of the Organizer and the Participant.

The refund request is submitted through any of the registration or refund forms, or verbal or written channels provided by the Organizer, after verifying the individual's identity and registration details.

The paid amount is non-refundable in the event of being late for the time specified by the Organizer, missing the organized transportation, or failing to attend the Event.

Registration Confirmation

Registration is considered confirmed if the Participant has fully paid the required fee for participating in the Event, as presented to the Participant in advance by the Organizer in writing or orally, and the Organizer has confirmed the registration. The Participant is notified of the registration confirmation through the channel of communication chosen by the Organizer.

Change of Event Time and Location

Due to weather forecasts, observation conditions, safety, or other valid organizational circumstances, the Organizer may change the Event location, assembly or departure point, as well as the start and end times of the Event.

The Participant is informed of such changes as soon as possible through one of the communication channels provided during registration.

A non-material change to the event's time or location shall not be deemed a cancellation of the Event and does not, in itself, constitute grounds for a refund of the amount paid.

If a change is evaluated by the Organizer as material—specifically, if the Event date changes, the duration significantly increases, a pre-selected transportation service is removed, or the core format of the Event changes substantially—the Participant will be offered options set by the Organizer for that situation regarding rescheduling, maintaining a ticket balance, or receiving a refund.

Safety

The participant is obligated to listen to and follow the instructions of the group leader or the leader appointed by the Organizer when traveling to the Event location, at the Event location, and during the return.

Prohibited

Using alcohol or other psychotropic substances at the Event location or while traveling to the Event location, as well as attending or participating in the Event under the influence of alcohol/psychotropic substances, is prohibited, except for events where the Organizer has explicitly stated otherwise in the published description.
Disturbing public order or disrupting the leisure and safety of other participants.
Bringing pets to the Event location, unless otherwise permitted by the Organizer in advance.
Night swimming in lakes or rivers during Events taking place in the vicinity of lakes or rivers.
Performing other actions aimed at violating public order as defined by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

In the event of a violation of these rules, the organizing team may remove the violating Participant from the Event or isolate them from the group. In such cases, the paid amount is non-refundable.

Event Photos and Videos

Photos and videos taken during the Event by Space42 or its authorized individuals may be used for Space42's informational, promotional, and commercial purposes within the limits permitted by law. If the Participant has an objection or a specific request regarding the use of any photo or video, they may contact Space42 to discuss the further use of that material.

Agreement

I freely give this informed consent to participate in the Event organized by the Organizer.

I confirm that I have properly reviewed the Event description and safety rules, have received answers to any questions I had, and take full responsibility for myself, the individuals accompanying me, and my belongings.

I clearly understand the rules presented to me and the importance of following them, as well as realize that ignoring the rules can lead to undesirable consequences. I understand that during the Event, organizational and safety decisions are made by the group leader appointed by the Organizer.

I confirm that neither I nor the individuals accompanying me to the Event have any medical conditions, or in the event of such conditions, we have notified the organizational team in writing prior to departure. I am responsible for assessing health-related risks for both myself and the individuals accompanying me, as well as for ensuring the availability of necessary medication.

I evaluate my health condition—congenital, acquired, chronic, or acute illnesses and/or disorders, as well as any deviation from the norm—independently and/or based on medical advice.

I have been properly informed that the Organizer or the Event leader shall not be held liable for any deterioration in my health status, provided it was not caused by the negligent acts or omissions of the Organizer or their staff.

I undertake to comply with all written and verbal instructions provided by the Organizer regarding the maintenance of order, safety assurance, and organizational matters, which are mandatory for all participants.

I have been properly informed that the Organizer and staff shall not be held liable for any potential loss, damage, and/or total destruction of my personal property during the Event, provided the damage was not caused by their negligent acts or omissions.

I undertake to be at the location specified by the Organizer at the specified time and understand that in the event of being late, the paid amount is non-refundable.

I have been properly informed that I may cancel my participation in the Event up to the deadline specified in the Event description or applicable special conditions; otherwise, I undertake to pay the full amount for the Event or forfeit the right to a refund of any amount already paid, as provided by these terms.

By signing or electronically accepting this informed consent, I confirm that my participation in the Event is voluntary and that I am aware of the risks inherent in outdoor and nighttime events. This provision does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

I confirm that I am over 13 years of age, and in the case of being a minor, I will provide the written consent of a parent and/or guardian to participate in the Event.

EVENT CANCELLATION & INTERRUPTION CONDITIONS

The parties may be released from liability for full or partial failure to fulfill their obligations under these terms, and the Organizer may terminate or modify the Event, if such failure or modification is due to force majeure that arose after the acceptance of these terms and which the parties could not reasonably foresee or prevent.

The Event may be interrupted or terminated:

Due to the deterioration of a participant's health condition or an injury sustained, if continuing the Event could endanger their health and safety or that of other individuals,
In the event of adverse weather conditions, especially when continuing the Event could pose a danger to human health or to the observation equipment,
For safety or other justified organizational reasons.

The decision to shorten, modify, interrupt, or terminate the Event shall be made by the group leader designated by the Organizer.

If the Event is shortened, modified, interrupted, or terminated after its start, departure, or execution of part of the program, and the Participant has already received part of the transportation, catering, organizational, or other services provided under the program, a full refund of the paid amount is not guaranteed.

The Organizer may provide a partial refund or ticket credit, taking into account the portion of unrendered services, the services already provided to the Participant, and the expenses already incurred by the Organizer.

I have been properly informed of the possibility of force majeure. In the event of a program change or other unpredictable circumstance, neither I, my relatives, nor my authorized representatives shall demand financial or other compensation from the Organizer or staff, provided the change was made within two days preceding the Event or during the Event, except in cases directly provided for in these terms or in the specific terms of the given Event.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR "PERSEIDS 2026" EVENTS

The conditions of this section apply to the "Perseids" events scheduled from August 8 to August 15, 2026, as well as to any substitute or rescheduled events. In the event of a conflict between this section and the general terms, the conditions of this section shall apply to the "Perseids 2026" events.

1. Registration and Event Date

1.1. The Participant registers for a specific event of their choice, taking place on either August 8 or August 15.

1.2. An approved registration for one event does not automatically confer the right to participate on other primary or alternative dates.

1.3. Participation on a different date is considered confirmed only if the Participant has selected the offered date and received written confirmation of the participation transfer from the Organizer.

2. Publication of Event Venue and Time

2.1. The exact location of the Event may not be published at the time of registration. As a rule, the location will be provided to the Participants approximately three days prior to the Event, following the final assessment of the weather forecast and organizational conditions.

2.2. The approximate duration of the Event and the expected return timeframe are specified in the Event description.

2.3. In addition to the changes provided under the general terms, the Organizer may also modify the travel route and individual components of the program for weather-related or other justified organizational reasons.

2.4. A time change of up to three hours is considered a non-substantial modification of the Event and does not, in itself, constitute a cancellation of the Event.

3. Weather Policy

3.1. The decision to hold, reschedule, limit the number of participants in, or cancel the Event is made by the Organizer, taking into account the weather forecast, observation conditions, and safety requirements for conducting the Event.

4. Rescheduling of the Event

4.1. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the Event scheduled for August 8 may be rescheduled to:

the following day, August 9,
a working day proposed by the Organizer,
or, subject to availability, August 15 or 16.

4.2. The Event scheduled for August 15 may be rescheduled to August 16 or another date proposed by the Organizer.

4.3. The Organizer may transfer registrations from the original Event to an event organized on another favorable date, subject to prior agreement with the Participant and taking into account weather conditions, event capacity, and organizational feasibility. The timeline, format, location, and maximum allowed number of participants for another favorable event may differ from the terms of the original Event.

4.4. For replacement events scheduled on working days, a separate public registration may not be opened. Participation in such events may be offered exclusively to participants of the rescheduled Event.

4.5. The Participant is not obligated to accept the replacement date proposed by the Organizer.

4.6. In the event of rescheduling, the Organizer undertakes not to charge additional fees from the Participant, except in cases where the Participant changes their transport option.

5. Capacity of Replacement Dates

5.1. Each main or replacement Event has a limited capacity.

5.2. Participants originally registered and confirmed for a given date retain priority for that specific Event.

5.3. A Participant transferring from another date can only be confirmed subject to the availability of open spots.

5.4. If no open spots are available, the Participant may join the waiting list. Registration on the waiting list does not constitute confirmation of participation.

5.5. Priority on the waiting list is determined by the time the transfer request or response is received, unless the Organizer has announced a different procedure in advance.

6. In the Event of Rescheduling or Cancellation by the Organizer

6.1. If the Organizer cancels or significantly modifies the Event selected by the Participant, the Participant may choose one of the following options:

Participate on one of the proposed replacement dates, subject to the availability of open spots;
Join the waiting list for another Event, if available;
Convert the ticket into a standard astrotour ticket, maintaining its designated validity period;
Receive a full monetary refund for the unused ticket.

6.2. Reservation for a replacement Event is maintained only after receiving the Participant's response within the timeframe specified in the Organizer's notice and upon re-confirmation of participation by the Organizer.

6.3. If no response is received within the specified timeframe, a spot for the replacement Event will not be reserved. In that case, the Participant may choose one of the following options: convert the ticket into a standard astrotour ticket, join the waiting list for another Event, or receive a full refund.

6.4. Being placed on the waiting list for another date does not revoke the Participant's right to select a standard astrotour ticket or receive a monetary refund, as long as their participation for another date has not been finalized and confirmed.

Change of Date or Cancellation at the Participant's Initiative

7.1. The Participant may request to modify, transfer to another available date, cancel, or convert their registration into a standard astrotour ticket no later than 23:59 on the fourth calendar day preceding the Event.

7.2. Specifically:

for an Event on August 8, the modification deadline is August 4 at 23:59;
for an Event on August 15, the modification deadline is August 11 at 23:59.

7.3. Transfer to another "Perseids" Event is possible only subject to the availability of open spots and is considered confirmed upon receiving written confirmation from the Organizer.

7.4. In the case of cancellation or transfer requests submitted after the specified deadline, a full refund or transfer is not guaranteed.

7.5. A partial refund after the deadline may be granted upon written or verbal agreement between the Organizer and the Participant.

8. Transportation and Additional Services

8.1. If paid transportation or other additional services are not provided during the replacement Event, the corresponding amount is refunded to the Participant or, with their consent, retained as a balance for future use.

Visibility of the Astronomical Phenomenon

9.1. The Organizer does not guarantee the observation of a specific quantity, brightness, or frequency of meteors.

9.2. Cloud movement, atmospheric transparency, smoke, light pollution, and other natural factors may affect observations even when the Event takes place.

9.3. The fact that a natural phenomenon is less pronounced than expected does not in itself constitute grounds for a refund or compensation.

10. Notifications

10.1. Official information regarding event confirmation, location, time, transfer, or cancellation is provided via the email address, phone number, or other communication method specified by the Organizer during registration.

10.2. The Participant is responsible for providing accurate contact details and checking incoming messages in a timely manner prior to the Event.

10.3. The Organizer is not responsible for cases where the Participant does not receive the message due to incorrectly provided details, telecom operator issues, mail system errors, or the settings of the Participant's device.

11. Tickets Purchased via Third-Party Platforms

11.1. Refunds and modifications for tickets purchased via GetYourGuide or other third-party platforms are subject to these terms. Payment transactions may be additionally governed by the terms and conditions of the respective platform.

11.2. In the case of a ticket purchased through a third-party platform, the Participant may be required to submit refund or modification requests through that platform.
